Regency Recipe




Two-Penny Pudding Recipe

Taken from, "A Jane Austen Household Book: with Martha Lloyd's Recipes".

Take 2 spoonfuls of flour (wetted with cold milk). The add near a pint of boiling milk with a little grated lemon peel. Four eggs well beat, to be put to it when cold with a spoonful of powder sugar. Boil it about 3 quarters of an hour.
